As in fencing, characteristics such as precision, speed and acumen are part of our company’s DNA. We are also united by our shared values of respect, appreciation and integrity. Melanie Klostermann and Tobias Klostermann are themselves former competitive fencers at top international level, which has led to close ties between ecoblue AG and the world of fencing.
ecoblue promotes young talent in fencing through a specially created program.
Not every child starts life with the same opportunities. Over 10 years ago, ecoblue founder Tobias Klostermann and others founded the Opportunities Foundation to enable more talented young people to achieve education and success.
Access to education in Germany is dependent on social background. The Chancenstiftung is committed to greater educational equality and has been supporting motivated children and young people from financially and socially disadvantaged families in many different ways since 2009. The nationwide support program helps young people to improve their academic and social performance, giving them the best possible start in the world of work. To this end, the foundation awards tutoring scholarships to children who are willing to learn.
In the meantime, the foundation has been able to support more than 1,400 girls and boys from low-income backgrounds in taking advantage of educational opportunities and thus realizing their dreams and goals. In the long term, this educational initiative will also help to train qualified young talent for Germany.
